Chief Justice Mr.ZORIG Tsevegmid was born in 1959 in Umnudelger soum, Khentii aimag, Mongolia.
He is a lawyer and received his LLM from the Mongolian State University.
Honorable Chief Justice Ts. Zorig has a judge title of the Mongolian court judge “Ded Tushee” /Vice Presidium Dignitary /
Throughout his career, he served in various courts:
1982-1987 Judge of District and City Appellate Courts
1987-1990 State Arbitrator of the State Arbitration Office
1990-2006 Judge of District and City Appellate Courts
2006-2010 Chief Judge of the City Appellate Court
Under the 234th Order of the President of Mongolia dated the 5th of November Mr.ZORIG Tsevegmid has been appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
According to the Article 61.4 of the Law on Courts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia shall Chair of the General Council of Courts of Mongolia.
