The Judicial Disciplinary Committee is comprised of 15 members. It decides whether to impose disciplinary measures against judges or not. The President of Mongolia approves its membership and rules.

The issue of imposing of sanctions specified in the Law on Courts is considered by the  primary or plenary sessions of the Committee is a breach of law or the norms of judicial ethics by a judge has been established by an investigation conducted according to the procedure.
