The Judicial Qualification Committee is comprised of 9 members who are highly qualified judges, jurists, scholars, who have experience in the administration of justice. They are appointed for a term of 3 years by the General Council of Courts.
The Committee examines candidates for judicial positions on their legal knowledge, personal skills, and evaluates judge’s qualification and professional skills upon the request of an appellate and / or supervisory instance court panel, or of the Judges Meeting of a given court, or of Chief Justice of any instance court.
