THE MONGOLIAN JUDGES ASSOCIATION (MJA)

The Mongolian Judges Association was established on 21st February, 1998 and later on it became a member of the International Association of Judges. Currently, the MJA has over four hundred members from the courts of all levels. The MJA aims at contribute and to strengthen the  judicial independence and impartiality of judges,  protect the interests of judges, improve their knowledge and skills, and to enhance cooperation with the International Association of Judges and with foreign legal and judicial institutions.  

The Governing Body of the Association is the Council Meeting which meets at least once a year. The Association elects the Governing Council for a term of 3 years.
