Justice Tsogt Tsend was appointed as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Mongolia by Presidential Decree No. 85 on June 15, 2026, following his nomination by the All Judges' Meeting on June 3, 2026.

Chief Justice Tsogt Tsend was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court in December 2020 and has been working as a judge since 2004. He graduated from School of Law, National Univeristy of Mongolia and completed his degrees at the Willamette University College of Law in the US, Nagoya University in Japan, and Duke University School of Law in the US, respectively.
